Hey, I’m Andrew — the Owner, DJ, and Photographer behind Rhodey Entertainment, specializing in wedding DJ services and wedding photography throughout Lynchburg and Central Virginia. 

With five years of experience in the wedding industry, my passion for music dates back to middle school. Before I ever mixed a first dance as a wedding DJ, I was a touring vocalist in a rock band, where I learned to read a crowd, build energy, and create electric moments. This same enthusiasm now fuels my work behind the decks, ensuring your guests are dancing, laughing, and talking about your wedding long after the final song. 

My approach is straightforward: no gimmicks, no stress — just a smooth, fun, and unforgettable experience with Rhodey Entertainment. I believe in preparation and communication, so your wedding day flows seamlessly. I coordinate with every vendor, keep the timeline on track, and ensure the energy remains high. Photography came naturally from my experience with live events. After years performing, I began shooting other bands on stage, chasing that same adrenaline from behind the lens. Now, I apply that instinct for timing and emotion to wedding photography. I know exactly when to capture those magical moments — the quick glances, the messy laughter, the joyful chaos on the dance floor — and I’m always in position to document it without intruding. 

When I’m not working with Rhodey Entertainment, I’m writing music, hosting karaoke nights at local bars, or enjoying time as a stay-at-home dad with my two incredible daughters, who keep me grounded and on my toes!
